Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 13, 2026

Welcome to the website of GLOW Leadership & Development, Inc. (“GLOW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of glowpensacola.org (the “Website”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. These Terms apply to the Website and do not replace any separate enrollment forms, releases, program rules, event terms, payment policies, or other agreements that may apply to a specific GLOW activity.

2. Website Use

You may use the Website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes, including learning about GLOW, contacting us, registering interest in programs or events, making payments, purchasing merchandise, or supporting our work. You may not use the Website in a way that interferes with its operation, harms GLOW or others, or violates any applicable law.

3. Eligibility and Parent/Guardian Responsibility

Some programs, activities, forms, purchases, or services may have age, grade-level, location, registration, or other eligibility requirements. Those requirements will be described in the applicable program or event materials. A parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult is responsible for supervising a minor’s use of the Website and for reviewing and completing any required forms, permissions, payments, or releases on the minor’s behalf.

4. Youth and Minor Participants

GLOW provides youth leadership and development programming. Minors should use the Website with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or legal guardian and should not submit personal information unless a parent or guardian has authorized it. Use of the Website, submission of a form, or expression of interest does not guarantee acceptance into a program, event, or activity and does not by itself create a participant relationship with GLOW.

5. Intellectual Property and GLOW Branding

The Website and its content—including text, graphics, logos, program names, designs, photographs, videos, downloads, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to GLOW and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. GLOW’s name, logo, branding, and the phrase “Grow. Lead. Overcome. Win.” may not be copied, altered, reproduced, sold, displayed, or used to suggest affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship without prior written permission. You may view and print reasonable portions of the Website for personal, noncommercial use, provided that you do not remove notices or alter the content.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, harassing, or harmful purposes;

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, accounts, systems, or data;

• Introduce viruses, malicious code, automated scraping tools, or other technology that could damage or disrupt the Website;

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, or relationship with GLOW;

• Submit information that is false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have permission to provide;

• Collect or misuse information about participants, families, volunteers, donors, staff, or other Website users; or

• Use GLOW content, branding, or materials for commercial purposes without written authorization.

7. Website Content and Accuracy

We work to keep Website information accurate and current, but information may change and may occasionally contain errors or omissions. Program schedules, availability, eligibility requirements, fees, event details, merchandise, and other content may be updated without notice. Website content is provided for general information and should not be treated as legal, medical, educational, financial, or other professional advice.

8. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including payment processors, registration platforms, social media sites, video hosts, or merchandise providers. GLOW does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms. A link does not necessarily mean that GLOW endorses the third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

9. Donations, Program Fees, Merchandise, and Other Payments

Payments made through the Website or a linked payment provider may include donations, program fees, event charges, merchandise purchases, or other amounts identified at the time of payment. You are responsible for reviewing the amount, description, and applicable conditions before submitting payment. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider and may be subject to that provider’s terms.

Refunds, exchanges, credits, and cancellations are governed by the policy that applies to the specific program, event, product, or payment at the time of the transaction. Nothing on the Website creates a general right to a refund or cancellation. GLOW Leadership & Development, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Program fees, merchandise purchases, event charges, and other payments are not automatically tax-deductible charitable contributions.

10. Photos, Videos, Testimonials, and Other Media

GLOW may display photographs, videos, testimonials, artwork, or other participant-related media only in accordance with applicable permissions, releases, licenses, and law. Participation in a GLOW program or use of the Website alone does not give GLOW ownership of a child’s or participant’s photograph, likeness, testimonial, creative work, or personal information, and does not by itself authorize public use of those materials.

11. User-Submitted Information and Website Forms

When you submit information through a Website form, you agree that the information is accurate, that you are authorized to provide it, and that it does not violate another person’s rights. You retain any ownership rights you may have in content you submit. You authorize GLOW to review and use submitted information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, process a registration or transaction, administer the applicable activity, protect the Website, or fulfill another purpose described when the information is collected, subject to applicable permissions and our Privacy Policy.

Submitting a form does not guarantee a response, acceptance, reservation, placement, partnership, volunteer role, or other outcome. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through a general Website form unless GLOW specifically requests it through an appropriate method.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also subject to GLOW’s Privacy Policy at glowpensacola.org/privacy-policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information. If you are submitting information about a minor, you confirm that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian or are otherwise authorized to provide the information.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. GLOW does not guarantee that the Website will always be available, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that Website content will meet every user’s needs or expectations.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GLOW and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website or any linked third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GLOW and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor, this provision applies to your own conduct and obligations as the parent, guardian, or authorized adult.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any rights or remedies available under applicable law remain subject to applicable legal requirements.

17. Changes to the Terms

GLOW may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the revised Terms.
